"Happiness is a warm 'hello' from someone specially nice to know."
One of my favorite quotations, from one of my favorite little girls, Strawberry Shortcake. I love that this quotation reminds me that a simple, "Hello" is all that someone might need. I presonally hate to talk on the phone. LOATHE it. However, I love getting cards, texts, emails, etc. even if they are just a quick, "Hi!"
I made this berry sweet card using an image from a retired Day-At-A-Glance Strawberry Shortcake calendar. The green and white checked ribbon is from Crafts 2000, and the strawberry print ribbon was in teh dollar section at Micheal's. I like the visually plaseing effect of rounding only two corners of the cardstock.

We are in Lanacaster, PA!
So, I have been making cards in our hotel room in the evenings while Brian watches sports on TV. Anyone interested in seeing photos of the cards I have made this week?

Feeling incredibly inspired by Pinterest, I whipped up these little bookmarks for my students. On Valentine's Day, I put a bookmark on each student's desk. They loved them! I love that little heart punch from Stampin' Up!. Before anyone thinks about jumping all over me for using the paintchips, I was assured that it was okay to take them. Now, I need a St.Patrick's Day goodie appropriate for middle schoolers. Any ideas?

A Little Birdie Told Me...
I love this little Stampin' Up set. The birds, depending on the colors and papers you combine them with, can be used for all types of cards. This one simply says, "Hello There" and I love the way it turned out. The little buttons mimic the polka dot pattern of the paper. This was a little out of my box because I used green, my least favorite color. However, I thought it was fitting with St. Patrick's Day right around the corner.

What are your favorite challenge blogs?
I miss blogging, and I hope to get some cards made and posted here very, very soon. The Christmas vacation from school will give me a VERY welcome break from the chaos I've recently experienced, and hopefully I'll get some new cards created.
I love Challenge Blogs because they give me direction and inspire me to think outside of my usual box.
So, what are your favorite challenge blogs? Please leave me a comment with the name of the blog and a link.

Poor, poor neglected blog...
... My blog has been neglected for far too long. My papercrafting projects have been neglected, too. That's okay, though, as I have been delighting myself in Bible reading, prayer, and focusing on my family and friends. Life is good. I am blessed.
Stay tuned.... school is out... I have time to papercraft and a whole lotta inspiration!

Got Pink?
So, Challenge #62 at Hand Stamped Sentiments is to make a
pink-a-licioius card. I love, love, love combining pink with black. Hence, this little creation. The "Bee Well" stamp is another gem from the Micheal's $1 bin. The bee is glittery pink, and I inked the white paper flowers with a soft pink. All of the papers were from my scrap bag, as was the polka dotted ribbon and button. A few pink Dew Drops ... and wah lah!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
