Life Happens

The above picture is of a thank you card I made. It's simple, but I like it. The next picture is of Grandma and I, taken in February of this year.
This is my very first paper bag album. It was so easy that I want to make another one soon.

Grandma Thelma passed away last month. Although I know that she's in Heaven with Jesus, I miss her presence here terribly. I wish so much that I could hug her one more time or hold her beautiful hand in mine.

During the difficult times of her illness, her passing, and now, our sadness; I've become more accutely aware of the true friendships that I have in this world. The people who take the time to call, send a card, and just say, "Hey - I'm prayin' for ya'." So, I'm on a mission to make about 100 thank you cards to express my gratitude for all of those prayers and generous gifts.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Love and a Hug,

  1. You know you have been in my prayers. I have missed your blog posts and hope things will settle down enough to give you time for crafting!

This card is so pretty! I love the embossed background!

  2. I love you Rebecha!! And I LOVE the paper bag album!! Can't wait to talk to you soon!

  3. I'm so sorry for your loss....I've been thinking of you. I hope that you are able to settle into a new normal and find some peace. Good luck on the 100 card marathon....a great idea!

  4. Your paper bag album is great! and so is your thank you card. I am so sorry for your loss. I can relate, I miss my grandma so much! I am so thankful for the wonderful memories I have of her, those I can keep forever. Have a wonderful day!
