Going for Green

I'm playing along with the ladies at Hand Stamped Sentiments and their "Go for Green" Challenge #58. I didn't want my card to be bright kelly green with a cutsie leprechaun. Those cards and images are SUPER CUTE, but I just wanted to do something a little different. The vintage trim fabric was actually my inspiration for the entire card. From there, it led to the softer green cardstock and patterned papers. The button has been in my stash for 10 years or so, so I was super excited to use it, too. I also used this weeks' Sketch #323 at Splitcoast Stampers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, and I appreciate your comments.

  1. Love this card. What a great way to send a card for St. Pat's Day without being too cliche. Thanks for playing with us this week. Hope you will join us again in future challenges.

  2. I love how you used the vintage trim on your card. Great Idea! Thank you so much for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  3. Very pretty St. Patrick's Day card! The soft colors work perfectly with that vintage trim. Thanks for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week. :)

  4. I love your shabby chic St. Patty's day card. I love your very vintage take. Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
